Ingredients
- 1 frying chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 2 Tbsp. oil or melted margarine
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 clove crushed garlic or dash of garlic powder
- black pepper
Method
- In bowl, combine lemon juice, oil, garlic and pepper.
- Arrange chicken in a shallow casserole or baking pan and pour over the lemon and oil mixture.
- Cover and bake at 350° until tender, about 40 minutes, basting occasionally.
- Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer to allow chicken to brown.
