Ingredients
- 2/3 stick margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 large can peaches in heavy syrup or other canned fruit
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Melt margarine in 2-liter casserole dish in 350° oven.
- Mix flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, milk and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Pour this over the melted margarine.
- Drop on top of this the cut-up peaches or fruit of choice along with syrup.
- Bake until crust rises through fruit and browns.
