Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 32 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 15 ounces ricottia cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chives
  • 12 teaspoon oregano leaves
  • 1 egg
  • 8 ounces uncooked lasagna noodles
  • 16 ounces mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Method

  • Brown and drain beef.
  • Add spaghetti sauce and water.
  • Simmer 5 minutes.
  • Combine ricottia cheese, egg, chives and oregano.
  • In bottom of ungreased 9x13 pan, spread 1-1/2c meat sauce, top with half noodles, 1/2 ricottia cheese mixture and 1/2 mozarella cheese.
  • Repeat, top with remaining meat sauce.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 for 50-60 minutes.
  • Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
