Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 8 wide lasagne noodles, uncooked
  • 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Crumble ground beef into 1 1/2-quart dish.
  • Cook on full power for 5 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring once.
  • Drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, basil, oregano, garlic powder and water.
  • Cover with lid.
