Ingredients
- 1 small head lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. purple onion, sliced
- 1 can LeSueur peas, drained
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. cheese, shredded
- 1/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled or 1/4 c. bacon bits
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 boiled eggs, chopped
Method
- In a 7 x 11-inch glass dish, layer lettuce, celery, onion, peas and eggs.
- Combine sugar and mayonnaise.
- Spread evenly over dish to the edges.
- Sprinkle with cheese and bacon or bacon bits. Cover and chill overnight.
- Makes about 8 servings.
