Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 potatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 lb. uncooked hamburger meat
  • 1 small can tomato sauce

Method

  • Dice and layer potatoes in bottom of pan.
  • Dice thin layer of the onion and place on top of the potatoes.
  • Cover with seasoning (optional).
  • Cover with uncooked rice.
  • Crumble uncooked hamburger meat and cover the potatoes, onion and rice mixture.
  • Pat down evenly.
  • Add 1 can of Ranch Style beans and cover with tomato sauce.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
