Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 3 (4 oz. each) pkg. Mozzarella cheese
  • 12 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked and drained

Method

  • Brown meat in very large skillet. Drain.
  • Add tomatoes (break up with fork).
  • Add tomato paste and spices.
  • Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Make layers of noodles, meat sauce and Mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes.
  • Let stand 15 minutes before cutting to serve.
