Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sour cream
- 3 c. flour
- 6 egg whites
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 oz. cream cheese
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
Method
- Beat egg whites; set aside.
- Cream butter, sugar and cream cheese, then egg yolks.
- Beat until light and fluffy.
- Sift flour and soda.
- Add flour alternately with sour cream.
- Fold in egg whites.
- Bake in large tube pan in slow oven at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
