Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger, browned and drained
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. whole sweet basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes
  • 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 c. creamed cottage cheese or Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Mix together the first 6 ingredients.
  • Layer noodles, meat, cheese mixture and Mozzarella cheese.
  • Make 2 layers.
  • Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
