- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove chopped garlic
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 7 to 8 lasagna noodles
- 24 oz. cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Method
- Brown beef with the garlic; add parsley, basil, salt, stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce.
- Simmer.
- Cook 7 to 8 lasagna noodles and rinse with cold water.
- Mix the cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley flakes, Parmesan cheese and Mozzarella cheese. Layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan:
- 1/2 noodles, 1/2 cheese mixture and 1/2 meat mixture.
- Repeat.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
