Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 2 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 2 (15 oz.) containers Ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • pepper
  • 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Brown meat in large skillet.
  • Add onion, garlic salt and oregano.
  • Cook until onion is tender.
  • Add soup and vinegar; simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the Ricotta cheese, egg, parsley flakes, sugar and a dash of pepper.
  • In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer noodles, cheese mixture, meat sauce and Mozzarella.
  • Repeat layers.
  • Sprinkle final layer with Parmesan.
  • Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
  • Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
