- 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 32 oz. spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. Mozzarella cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
Method
- Saute meat, breaking into small pieces as it browns.
- Add the spaghetti sauce and salt.
- Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Cook lasagna noodles 12 to 15 minutes.
- Combine remaining ingredients to prepare a cheese filling.
- Place a small amount of the sauce in the bottom of a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or casserole dish. Alternate layers of noodles, cheese filling, meat sauce, noodles, filling, noodles and meat sauce.
- Bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
