- 1 medium white onion, diced
- 2 large cans tomato paste
- 2 large cans tomato sauce
- 8 oz. Ricotta cheese
- 8 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1 lb. ground beef, cooked, browned and drained
- 1/4 c. oregano
- 1/4 c. basil
- 1/4 c. garlic powder
- 6 oz. sliced mushrooms
Method
- Combine 1/2 cup water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, ground beef, onion, mushrooms, oregano, basil and garlic powder in a large saucepan and simmer, uncovered, on medium heat for 1 hour.
