Ingredients

  • 3-1/2 cups Water, Divided Use
  • 3/4 cups Sugar Or Splenda
  • 2 cups Chopped Watermelon
  • 1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice

Method

  • Bring 3 cups water and the sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat, stirring occasionally. Remove saucepan from heat, allowing the syrup mixture to cool.
  • Meanwhile, puree the chopped watermelon in a blender or food processor with the remaining 1/2 cup water.
  • Pour syrup and watermelon puree through a strainer into a pitcher. Stir in lemon juice. Serve over ice.
