Ingredients

  • 1 lb. oleo
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
  • preserves
  • powdered sugar

Method

  • Mix together the oleo, flour and ice cream and let stand in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Roll out on floured surface and cut into 2 to 3-inch squares.
  • Put 1 teaspoon preserves in middle. Fold corners up to center.
  • Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for approximately 14 to 15 minutes until slightly brown on bottoms. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when done.
  • Do not bake until brown on top; they will look not quite done.
