- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil (Wesson)
- 3 Tbsp. baking cocoa
- 1 can Coke
- 1 1/2 c. small marshmallows
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Method
- Mix sugar and flour; set aside.
- In a saucepan, bring to boil and stir constantly butter, vegetable oil, cocoa and Coke.
- Stir in marshmallows.
- Pour this mixture over flour and sugar mix.
- Add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla flavoring.
- Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350° for approximately 40 minutes.
- Check at 30 minutes with toothpick.
- Do not overcook.
