Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb kielbasa, cut into 1/4-inch thick slices
  • 1 small red onion, thinly slicef
  • 1 small green bell pepper, cored, seeded and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method

  • Heat oil in large skillet.
  • Add sausage, onion & bell pepper.
  • Cook over medium heat 5-10 minutes or until vegetables are tender and sausage is lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Drain Fat.
  • Add sauerkraut, mustard, caraway seeds, salt & pepper to skillet.
  • Cook over medium heat 3-5 minutes or until heated thru.
