Ingredients

  • 2 rice cups Japanese rice (about 300g)
  • 320 ml water
  • 1 cube bouillon (ex.Maggi)
  • 1 onion
  • 4-5 green bell peppers
  • 3 Tbsp sake (or white wine)
  • 5 Tbsp ketchup

Method

  • Dissolve the bouillon cube with hot water (less than 320ml).
  • Make the total amount of bouillon 320ml and pour it over the (rinsed) rice.
  • Leave it for more than 60 minutes.
  • Cut the onion, bell peppers, and sausages (or chicken) in small pieces.
  • Spread the oil in a pan and fry the onion.
  • Then add the bell peppers, sausages and the frozen vegetables.
  • Fry well.
  • Add the sake and ketchup in the rice.
  • Then pour them into the pan.
  • Make the surface flat.
  • Make sure the rice is soaked in the water.
  • Put a lid over the pan.
  • Lower the heat when it boils and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • Leave it for another 15 minutes without heating WITH the lid on.
  • Open the lid, mix well and enjoy!
