Ingredients

  • 1 envelope gelatin
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (1 c.)
  • 1/4 c. Kahlua
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. whipping cream, whipped

Method

  • Mix gelatin, sugar and salt in 2 1/2-quart saucepan.
  • Stir in milk and chocolate pieces.
  • Place over medium heat and stir constantly until gelatin is dissolved and chocolate is melted. Remove from heat; beat with rotary beater until chocolate is blended.
  • Stir in Kahlua and vanilla.
  • Chill, stirring occasionally until mixture mounds slightly.
  • Fold in whipped cream.
  • Turn into a 4-cup mold.
  • Chill until firm.
  • Unmold.
  • Garnish with chocolate curls.
