Ingredients
- 2 c soft butter - no substitutes
- 8 oz soft cream cheese
- 2 c sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 t vanilla
- 4 1/2 c flour
Method
- Beat the butter and cream cheese until light, then beat in the sugar and eggs until fluffy. Add vanilla, then the flour.
- Form 2 discs of dough and chill at least 2 hours. Roll out fairly thick (1/4") and bake at 350° just until set, NOT brown, about 10 minutes.
