Ingredients
- 2 c. parboiled rice
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 Jamaican pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. salt to taste
- 1 tin corned beef or fresh stew beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 2 bouillon cubes
Method
- Make a stew with onion, corned beef, pepper, salt and oil. Add the parboiled rice into the pot of stew with all the ingredients.
- Allow to simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add water according to demand until the rice is well cooked, approximately 45 minutes. Serves 5 to 6 people.
