- 1 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 large can chopped green chilies
- 1 can sliced stewed tomatoes or 2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato soup (no water)
- 1 large can pork and beans
- Polish sausage, sliced
- 1 large can cooked pinto beans or fresh cooked pinto beans
- 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Cook bacon until almost done.
- Add pepper and onion.
- Cook until soft.
- Add ground beef; cook until done.
- Add green chilies, tomatoes, soup and beans.
- Just before serving stir in grated Cheddar cheese.
- Add German Polish sausage when you add the beans.
