Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bacon, cut in small pieces
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large can chopped green chilies
  • 1 can sliced stewed tomatoes or 2 cans Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato soup (no water)
  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • Polish sausage, sliced
  • 1 large can cooked pinto beans or fresh cooked pinto beans
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Cook bacon until almost done.
  • Add pepper and onion.
  • Cook until soft.
  • Add ground beef; cook until done.
  • Add green chilies, tomatoes, soup and beans.
  • Just before serving stir in grated Cheddar cheese.
  • Add German Polish sausage when you add the beans.
