Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 (13 oz.) can sliced peaches

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Place butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan in oven to melt.
  • In a large bowl mix flour, sugar and milk (should be very thin).
  • When butter is melted, remove from the oven and sprinkle brown sugar over bottom of pan, then pour all the batter into the pan.
  • Open a can of peaches and spoon the slices evenly all over the pan, then pour remaining syrup all over the batter and peaches.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon lightly over the top.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a golden brown.
  • Serve hot or cold.
