Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck beef
- 1 c. precooked rice
- 1 (1 lb. 12 oz.) can tomatoes, undrained, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1 or 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Method
- In a
- 3-quart
- casserole,
- crumble
- beef.
- Microwave at High 5 to 7
- minutes,
- stirring after 3 minutes. Drain. Add rice, tomatoes,
- onion, chili powder, salt and pepper;
- cover. Microwave at High for 10 to 12 minutes; stir well.
- Let stand, covered, for about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
