Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. beef brisket (corned)
- 2 bay leaves (small)
- 1 chopped onion
- water to cover
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp. peppercorns (whole)
Method
- Put corned beef into pot and water just to cover.
- Add onion, garlic, bay leaves and peppercorns.
- Cover and cook on high 1 hour; lower heat and cook on low 10 to 12 hours.
