Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (red or green)
  • 1 can pineapple slices

Method

  • Prepare Jell-O per instructions on package using 1/2 cup less water.
  • Chill until slightly set.
  • Open pineapple, removing all of can top.
  • Rinse can and save.
  • Drain pineapple well.
  • Pour a small (2 tablespoons) Jell-O in can.
  • Add a slice of pineapple, a little Jell-O, another slice, more Jell-O, etc., until can is full.
  • Chill until firm.
  • When ready to serve, run hot water over can to loosen Jell-O.
  • Gently shake Jell-O onto plate, then cut between each slice of pineapple.
  • Arrange on plate and serve.
