Ingredients

  • 3 oz. pkg. lemon flavored gelatin
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 3/4 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 1/2 c. apples (unpared), chopped
  • 1/4 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • salad greens (as desired)

Method

  • Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  • Add cold water, lemon juice and salt.
  • Chill until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except greens.
  • Pour into 1-quart mold or an 8 x 8-inch pan, 2 inches thick.
  • Chill until firm.
