Ingredients
- 1/2 cup japanese soya sauce (light soya sauce)
- 1/2 cup mirin (Japanese cooking wine)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pinch ginger
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 minced garlic clove
Method
- Heat all ingredients in a pot.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer to thicken the sauce. (about 15 minutes).
- Remove from heat and cool.
- This sauce can be stored in an air-tight jar in the refrigerator.
