Ingredients

  • 15 cm The white part of Japanese leek
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 Coarsely ground black pepper (to serve)

Method

  • Mix the chopped scallion, sesame oil, lemon juice, salt and sugar in a bowl.
  • Garnish any dish with the sauce, and sprinkle some coarsely ground black pepper on top.
  • It tastes better if the pepper is freshly ground.
