Ingredients
- 3 cups broth, and or water
- salt
- 1 pinch saffron thread (optional)
- 1 cup fregola pasta
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh Italian parsley
- 2 tablespoons minced chives
Method
- Bring water to boil.
- Add salt and saffron.
- Add fregola.
- Lower heat and gently simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Drain and add butter/olive oil and herbs.
