Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. ground walnuts
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 egg whites, lightly beaten
Method
- Combine walnuts and sugar.
- Add egg whites gradually until mixture forms a thick paste. Drop in large balls onto a baking sheet coated with nonstick vegetable spray. With the back of a spoon, make a hollow in the center of each ball.
- Bake for 20 minutes in on oven which has been preheated to 300°.
- Remove when lightly brown.
- Place warm jam in the hollow of each cookie and serve.
