Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. ribs
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt

Method

  • Place ribs in a large pan.
  • Add 1/2 cup vinegar and enough water to cover.
  • Simmer, covered, 1 hour or until meat is tender. Drain.
  • This part may be done the day before or early the same day.
  • Blend cornstarch and water together.
  • Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, about 3 minutes.
  • Cook ribs on grill, basting and turning frequently until done.
