Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburg (browned & drained)
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 - 16 oz. can whole tomatoes, cut up
  • 1 - 16 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 - 15 oz. can kidney beans (don't drain)
  • 2 c. water (or more)
  • 5 tsp. beef granules or 5 cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. sweet basil
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. macaroni
  • 1 c. frozen/fresh green beans
  • 2 c. shredded cabbage

Method

  • Add all ingredients to browned, drained hamburg.
  • Bring to a boil and cover, simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add the macaroni, green beans and cabbage, cooking until everything is tender.
