Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) bag frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 c. grated sharp cheese
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 small can sliced water chestnuts
  • 2/3 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 rib Ritz crackers, crushed
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Save some oleo for top of casserole.
  • Put butter, celery and onion in microwave until butter melts.
  • Cook vegetables according to package.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Drain and mix everything together.
  • Grease dish and add ingredients.
  • Sprinkle Ritz crackers (crushed) and remaining oleo on top.
  • Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
