Ingredients

  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. warm water
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 yeast
  • 6 c. flour

Method

  • Heat 2 cups water, boil and pour over oil, sugar and salt. Cool and put yeast in 1/3 cup warm water.
  • Add to cool mixture along with eggs and 1/2 of flour; stir mixture smooth.
  • Add rest of flour and blend well.
  • Turn out on lightly floured surface and knead lightly.
  • Shape into rolls and place on buttered sheet.
  • Let rise until double, brush with egg white and add seeds.
  • Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
