Ingredients

  • 2-1/4 qt. KRAFT Light Italian Reduced Fat Dressing
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. dried oregano leaves
  • 3 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 9 each beef flank steaks Safeway 1 lb For $5.99 thru 02/09

Method

  • Mix dressing, onion, basil, oregano and garlic powder in large bowl with wire whisk until well blended.
  • Pour over steaks in full hotel pan (or half hotel pan for trial recipe); turn steaks over to evenly coat.
  • Cover; refrigerate several hours or overnight.
  • Remove steaks from marinade; discard marinade.
  • Place steaks on rack of broiler pan or on hot grill.
  • Broil or grill 5 min.
  • on each side for color.
  • Place in clean full sheet pan (or half sheet pan for trial recipe).
  • Bake in 300F-convection oven for 20 to 25 min.
  • or until internal temperature reaches 145F.
  • Cut meat diagonally across the grain into thin slices to serve.
