Ingredients
- 7 1/2 c.(2 1/4 lb.) fresh green beans
- 2 c. chopped, peeled tomato
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- salt to taste
- 3/4 c. chicken broth
Method
- Prepare and wash beans.
- Break or cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Place in a Dutch oven; add other ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until beans are tender.
