Ingredients
- 7 to 8 c. apples, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter on top
Method
- Mix lightly and pour into 9-inch pie crust.
- Dot with butter. Add top crust.
- Bake at 400° until apples are cooked and crust is lightly browned, 50 to 60 minutes.
