Ingredients

  • 4 cups coarsely chopped peeled tomato (about 2 1/4 pounds)
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground sumac or 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • Dash of sugar
