Ingredients

  • 2 qt. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. yeast
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  • Set aside.
  • Mix oil, milk and egg together and add this mixture to the flour mixture and mix well.
  • Pour out on lightly floured board and knead, 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Let dough rise on board for 20 minutes. Cut into desired shapes; place in greased muffin pans and brush top of rolls with margarine.
  • Let rise until double in bulk.
  • Bake in oven at 375° for 10 minutes or until done.
  • Yields 3 dozen rolls.
