Ingredients

  • 1 cup wild rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 red pepper diced
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • 2 TBS vegetable oil
  • 2 TBS soy sauce
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 2 TBS rice vinegar
  • 2 TBS brown sugar
  • 2 TBS curry powder
  • 1 TBS grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 apple sliced
  • 1 TBS chili sauce (if you like it hot)

Method

  • cook rice, raisins,ginger and curry in water for about 40 minutes or until done.
  • remove the ends of the fresh peas
  • put in rice pot when rice is done to steam
  • combine all other ingredients into bowl
  • add rice mixture
  • let sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours
