- 1 cup wild rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 red pepper diced
- 4 green onions chopped
- 2 TBS vegetable oil
- 2 TBS soy sauce
- 1 cup snow peas
- 2 TBS rice vinegar
- 2 TBS brown sugar
- 2 TBS curry powder
- 1 TBS grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 apple sliced
- 1 TBS chili sauce (if you like it hot)
Method
- cook rice, raisins,ginger and curry in water for about 40 minutes or until done.
- remove the ends of the fresh peas
- put in rice pot when rice is done to steam
- combine all other ingredients into bowl
- add rice mixture
- let sit in the fridge for at least 4 hours
