Ingredients
- 1 large head lettuce
- 1 c. cooked peas (canned or frozen)
- 1 pt. mayonnaise
- 8 oz. shredded cheese
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 lb. bacon
Method
- Cook bacon crisp (less than 1 pound can be used, if desired); drain and crumble.
- Whip mayonnaise with sugar.
- Shred lettuce; layer in large dish with celery, onion, peas, cheese, bacon and mayonnaise.
- Chill overnight.
