Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 small cream cheese
  • 8 oz. egg noodles
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • pepper to taste
  • 6 green onions

Method

  • Brown meat; drain.
  • Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper, garlic and sugar.
  • Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
  • Prepare 8 ounce package of egg noodles as directed.
  • Mix together green onions, sour cream and cream cheese.
  • Grease a casserole dish.
  • Add 1/2 noodles; spread 1/2 meat on noodles, then 1/2 cream cheese mixture. Repeat.
  • Top with grated cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
