Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • garlic to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (5 to 8 oz.) bag small noodles
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Brown ground beef; drain.
  • Add seasonings and tomato sauce; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Cook noodles; drain.
  • Mix sour cream and cream cheese together.
  • In a 2-quart baking dish, put layers of noodles, meat sauce, sour cream mixture and grated cheese, ending with grated cheese on top.
  • Bake for 20 minutes at 350°. Serves 6 to 8.
