Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/2 lb. beef cubes
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. broad egg noodles

Method

  • In large saucepan, heat oil and brown beef.
  • Add dry soup mix and paprika, blended with tomatoes.
  • Simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for 1 1/2 hours, or until beef is tender.
  • Stir in flour and salt blended with water.
  • Bring to boil, then simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes.
