Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 egg, well beaten
- 1 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. chopped black walnuts
- 2 c. chopped bananas
Method
- In a large bowl, sift together the first 5 ingredients.
- Add eggs and salad oil, stirring by hand until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Do not use electric mixer.
- Stir in vanilla, pineapple and nuts.
- Finally, add bananas.
- Pour into 3 greased and floured round cake pans.
- Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool.
