Ingredients

  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple, do not drain
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. diced bananas

Method

  • Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl; add eggs and oil. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
  • Stir in vanilla, pineapple, 1/2 cup nuts and bananas.
  • Pour into 3 well-greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and frost; sprinkle with 1/2 cup nuts.
