Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 3/4 c. warm water
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. melted shortening, cooled
Method
- Combine yeast, sugar and warm water.
- Add egg, salt and shortening.
- Stir in all of flour and blend well.
- Let stand in bowl 30 minutes before making into rolls.
- Drop in 9 x 13-inch pan with tablespoon.
- Bake at 400° until done.
