Ingredients
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. oil or shortening
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
Method
- Sprinkle yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar in 1/2 cup warm water. Wait 10 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Add together.
- Add flour to make a stiff dough.
- Let rise until dough is double in bulk.
- Make into rolls.
- Let rise again until double in bulk. Bake.
