Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. hot pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. bell pepper
  • 6 1/2 c. sugar
  • 16 oz. bottle Certo
  • 3 drops green food coloring
  • 1 1/2 c. vinegar

Method

  • Put coarsely chopped peppers and vinegar in blender.
  • Blend until finely chopped.
  • Add sugar and bring mixture to a rolling boil.
  • Remove from heat and add pectin.
  • Boil 3 minutes longer. Add food coloring a drop at a time until color desired.
  • Stir and seal in jar (hot sterilized).
  • Will make 6 or 7 half-pint jars of jelly.
